U14 Girls Football Fixture

TTC travelled to Colne for a difficult fixture. The whole team worked extremely hard throughout the game showing great determination and confidence. They passed the ball extremely well and created many opportunities in front of goal but just couldn't convert them all.  Colne GK was great.  TTC kept the score to 2-1 at half time which was fantastic. Fitness had a big part to play in the 2nd half and TTC conceded a few more goals.  Not the result we wanted but we lost to a very good Colne team.

Year 7 Girls Football Fixture

A great game of football played at Colne tonight. A few of the regular players were missing due to the dance show, however this didn't deter the confidence in the girls.  The team started off well, scoring in the first 5 mins; a great worked goal with a great finish by Emily.  TTC passing was good between midfield and attack. Another great goal by Mae was scored in the first half - 2- 0 at half time.

Into the 2nd half and TTC were dominating, Colne had 7 students defending, which made it hard for TTC to score, but a wonder goal from the half way line by Chloe made it 3-0 - a fantastic shot.

Emily was on the score sheet again with a great passed move between Olivia and Mae, who crossed the ball in for Emily to head in her 2nd.

Jessica made a few saves to keep a clean sheet but was hardly troubled due to great defence by Charlotte, Alicia and Chloe.

Player of the Match was joint between Mae Hughes, Emily Priestly and Chloe Rowling.
