Read about the fantastic sporting success of our students and look out for the announcements on Twitter! In comparison to the vast majority of schools in the area we have poor facilities for our PE department and our students. Despite that we go out every week and win in a huge range of sports. We also have an elite squad that participate in a whole range of sports including those not taught at TTC. They range from sailing to archery. What we have is great teachers and great students who are committed to giving their best.

Good luck to Year 7s who should be starting to prepare for their end of year exams; they need to study at home, not just what they learn in class but also beyond so they have a deep understanding. Exams in the future will rely entirely on an exam at the end of the course; course work will no longer be a part of most exams. Early entries and retakes will not be an option so students need to learn to prepare for every exam as they will have one shot at it. Parents, please encourage your children to learn their work, practice their skills and read about the subject beyond the work in the classroom.
