Last week we had a lovely celebratory evening to thank the many alumni that come back and support students at their old school. It was lovely to be able to chat and catch up with their news. They represented such a wide variety of careers and experiences and it is a privilege that they are prepared to give up their time to motivate our students. Our thanks to Mr Mark Platt for supporting the evening and thank you to our IAG, Careers team and all staff and students who supported the event. We encourage all ex-students sign up on the Future First website to join our team of Alumni.

On Friday, I had the pleasure of joining over forty Years 7 to 13 students on a trip to the Royal Opera House to see Tosca. The opera was wonderful and it was such a pleasure to see the performers so warmly appreciated by a packed house of young people for this performance especially for schools. Our students were a pleasure to be with.

Today we hosted four police dogs who were in training. We were part of their training! We provided a more crowded environment for them to practice in and develop their skills. Two of the dogs are training to find drugs and two are training to find explosives. It didn't stop us all from giving them a fuss before they started! Our thanks to the police dog handlers who took the time to explain their work to some of our students.

TTC continues to be a place of great experiences!
