We are very proud to announce that Josef Sullivan, Year 10, has been awarded a certificate for Outstanding Achievement in Judo, by the Jack Petchey Foundation. Josef was nominated by Redbridge where he trains with the England squad. We are very proud of him.

Another proud moment was receiving a copy of an email from Dick Madden, County Councillor and Cabinet Member for Families and Children.  He wrote:-
Recently, on leaving County Hall I walked passed art and design features that were on display within the County Hall precinct.

I have to state I was so impressed with the display items I physically stopped and took time to observe and analyse each individual piece.

Please will you pass on my congratulations and acknowledgement on the fine artwork contributed by students of Tendring Technology College.

I particularly would like you to pass on my congratulations to Chloe Strutt, I believe Year 11 or 12, who had on display a portrait in charcoal.  My interpretation was that Chloe had captured the emotion of the individual subject in this piece of artwork.  In effect, to me the portrait had come alive.”

The Art work at TTC is impressive. My thanks to Councillor Madden for taking the time to contact Ms Meakin who organised the display of work.

We are looking for Sponsors for our ‘Tendring Tornadoes’ team who are a group of students in Years 7 to 10. They are building a car from scratch to enter the Greenpower F24 races. The car will be environmentally friendly, running on two 12 volt batteries that power a non-polluting motor. They need to raise in excess of £2000 to achieve this. If you can help please email me.
