From the Vice Principal

It is extremely pleasing to read about the wonderful extra-curricular trips and activities that the College is offering and students are enthusiastically engaging with. As a geographer, I’m very jealous of those that went on the trip to Hawaii; what a wonderful experience! I was also pleased to read about the Volleyball Camp and the great efforts that students took just to attend the Astronomy Night.

I would like to bring to parents attention the Year 8, 11 and 12 Parent Consultation Evenings planned for this month. I urge you to attend as it is an excellent opportunity to learn about and support your child’s learning. The Year 11 Parent Consultation Evening is an additional evening as we recognise the importance of engaging parental support with the examinations almost upon us.

Please encourage your child to take full advantage of all the revision opportunities and support that the College is offering. Year 11 students need to be revising for their
exams now: preparation, commitment and hard work are essential factors in determining examination success.
