Apologies for the late arrival of College News this week but you are probably aware that Ofsted came Wednesday on an unannounced inspection and this continued on Thursday with a team of 8 inspectors working across the two sites! Needless to say they have been the focus of our attention as we showed off with pride, our great Academy. TTC must be one of the most inspected academies in the country. We have had three inspections in the last four and a half years. The judgements are confidential until the report has been ratified so I cannot say any more about them at this time. What I can say is that I am very proud of our students and staff. I would also like to thank the Governors who, at very short notice, came in to meet with the Inspectors.

At the end of half term, I had the privilege of being the guest of honour at the Walton Sea Cadets unit annual dinner. I have always been so impressed with the opportunities and experience that the unit offers to young people. It was wonderful to see some of our ex-students who have benefited so much from being a cadet. I can thoroughly recommend it to our students.
