The Summer Bash is on Friday. It will be a great fun evening. All students of TTC welcome. Tickets will be available on the gate.

Congratulations to Eleanor Buxton and Beth Page who have been elected as joint presidents of iVoice. I would like to congratulate all the candidates. I had the privilege of watching their presidential speeches to Year 12. I was very impressed with the quality of their speeches. I know that they will make an excellent contribution to the cabinet. Well done to Edward Ablett, Millicent Lord, Aaron Jessop and Sakia -Tia Ridley.

As you will see from the photographs in College News, Rounders day at Frinton campus was a great success. Staff and students joined forces in tutor groups from Years 10 and 12. It was VERY competitive! Even so, everyone managed to keep it on a fun footing.

On Tuesday I had the delight of going to Engaines Primary school for their 100 year celebration. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the children entertained us with songs dance and poetry.

Congratulations to George Nunn, Joe Messenger and Stefan Todd who were all awarded copper awards in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge. I studied Chemistry at University so I am delighted at the enthusiasm for Chemistry of our Year 12's. 17 of them entered this challenge. Congratulations to all of you!

The National Union of Teachers have called for a national strike on Thursday 10 July. At the time of going to print we do not know how many of our colleagues will be taking action. As soon as we have that information and the impact it will have, we will post it on the website and notify you through Parent Mail.
