Mrs Johnson and I had the pleasure of visiting Number 10 Downing Street this week, as guests of the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne. It was an honour to be allowed to step inside the home of the political leader of this country.

Other guests included colleagues from schools in Derbyshire and London and countless businesses from across the country. We met with representatives of the institute of Chartered Accountants who are keen to work with us and offer opportunities to our students. This is excellent and I am sure that some of the 67 students who have signed up to do A Level maths this year will benefit.
