Remembrance Day

posted 28 Nov 2016, 00:57 by Amy Deamer
On Friday 11 November, at 11am the whole of Tendring Technology College observed two minutes silence to recognise the sacrifices made not just by the Armed Forces of the past, but by today’s generation too. At Thorpe Campus over 950 students assembled on the tennis courts and were joined by Commander Nesbitt - Area Commander for the Royal Navy Sea Cadets as well as members of the Royal British Legion. The TTC Sea Cadet Marching Band led a procession onto the tennis courts and all students who are part of the Sea Cadets, Scouts or Guides were invited to attend in their uniforms. The whole event provided a poignant reminder of those who have given their lives for our freedom and student body represented TTC impeccably.
