On Wednesday 16 of March 2016 the year 13 BTEC and A-Level Music students provided evening entertainment in the music department.

The event was their final recital and it was attended by an intimate audience of close friends, staff and family. Conor Fenton, Louise Drake, Kerry May Jackson, Daniel Stubbs and Georgia Burley produced outstanding performances each demonstrating their individual strengths and character through a musically diverse selection of sets featuring the composition of: Bach, Guns ‘n’ Roses, George Michael, The Beatles, Metallica, Stevie Wonder, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gladys Knight, Rhianna, Sam Sparrow, Johnny Cash, Oasis, Steven Wilson, X-Ambassadors, The Lumineers, Kygo, Paolo Nutini, Hozier, Paramore, Daughter, Half Moon Run, Gnarls Barkley, Birdy, Carole King, The Who, Chaka Khan, Lindisfarne and originals by our very own Kerry Jackson.

It has been a pleasure working with these students over the last few years. With so much talent it is really exciting to think about where their musical journeys will take them in the future.
