Internet Safety Information Evening

posted 6 Jan 2015, 04:04 by   [ updated 6 Jan 2015, 04:07 ]

To answer this question there must be an understanding of what is happening online and how and why young people are subject to online sexual exploitation.

This can affect all children from all walks of life.

  • Does your child have a mobile phone?
  • Does your child have a tablet/access to a computer?
  • Does your child have a games console?
  • Does your child play on-line games?
  • Does your child use social networks? (Snapchat, Meow, Tango, Omegle)

If the answer to any of these is YES, you need to take this opportunity to hear Detective Sergeant John Woodley of Essex Police

Monday 9 February 7pm – 9pm

Tendring Technology College,
Frinton Campus, Rochford Way, Frinton-on-Sea, CO13 0AZ

D.S. Woodley will give you an insight into the complex web of online activity which results in young people being groomed by paedophiles and alarmingly inadvertently assisted by parents.

This is an information evening that no parent should miss!

Reserve your seat by contacting Miss K Furby at Frinton Campus on 01255 672116 as soon as possible – space is limited and this opportunity will be popular.
