Ethos and Overview
The aim of the department is to develop each student's understanding of the practises that businesses use on a day-to-day basis and to widen their understanding of the world around them. Students will develop their ability to be innovative and creative, whilst improving their skills in team work, communication and problem solving. Students are encouraged to be enterprising, adopting a "can do" attitude and to develop the confidence to communicate effectively. The College has been very successful with Young Enterprise, winning the local area finals regularly; the County Finals 8 times and the East of England one year. Also, we were 4th in the National Finals.
