 Name Biography
Chairman
Mrs Connie Kerr
Connie has lived locally for most of her life, she has been linked to Tendring Technology College since the age of eleven; first as a student, then an employee, then as a parent and now as a Governor. 25 years on from being offered her first post at TTC, Connie still works in education; She is passionate in her belief that each student is individual and deserves every opportunity and the right support throughout their education to help them achieve to their full potential and be prepared for their future beyond their years at TTC.

She feels privileged to have the opportunity to serve our College as Chair of Governors and looks forward to working with her colleagues on the Governing Body in supporting the Principal and his staff to achieving their vision for TTC.

Vice Chairman
Mr Les Glasby
Les has lived in Frinton on Sea for nearly 40 years. He arrived at Christmas 1977 when he was appointed as a Maths Teacher at the Gunfleet School. Les spent the next 35 years at the school which became Tendring High School, and Tendring Technology College and finally TTC (an AET academy).

During that time Les met his wife and our three boys have all attended the school. He is a leading member of the Frinton Methodist Church and spend some of his retirement driving people to hospital etc as a volunteer driver for Frinton Christian Community Care. When he was invited to join the Governing body he realised how much TTC had played in my adult life and he wanted to continue having some say in the lives of the hundreds of students who are and always have been special.
Governor
Mr Richard Barrett
Richard has lived in the Tendring area for over 30 years and worked locally for more than 10 years. Richard's career has always revolved around finance in one way or another and at present he works as an accountant elsewhere in the public sector. As TTC has always been recognised as a ‘stand out’ school during his time in Tendring, he was extremely pleased when his daughter was offered a place at the school when she moved up from primary school recently. Richard was equally pleased to become a governor at the school from September this year and he is as enthusiastic as ever to support the school in supporting the children during some of the most important years of their lives."

Mrs April Crawford
April is a member of the Senior Leadership Team at an AET academy and is responsible for the management of Human Resources.  Her background is in Finance, originally with the MoD, moving into education in 1993 when she relocated to Essex with her family after living abroad for over 10 years.  April believes that all young people should be given every opportunity to broaden their life experiences and skills and achieve their dreams.
